California BPPE today released a memo targeted at out-of-state institutions subject to requirements for registration with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Recent law changes both expanded the set of institutions subject to registration requirements and also expanded the set of laws that registered institutions must comply with. https://bppe.ca.gov/lawsregs/out_of_state_institution_memo.pdf

These are changes that apply to institutions enrolling Californians from a location outside California, with notable exceptions (i.e., public and nonprofit accredited, degree-granting institutions).
